VOLUNTEER
It Takes a Village!

One of the things that make Corpus Christi special is our wonderful community – and that community is created in part through the volunteer efforts of
every family at the school! The hours you spend volunteering aren’t just to make events happen – you get to know other families along the way, making our community even stronger.
To that end, we need help for the Crab Feed and Auction! Every family is expected to volunteer to help with the event, and there’s a wide variety of ways to do this. Below are some of the ways you can help... see what's most interesting to you and reach out to get involved!

Planning the Silent Auction: Planning opportunities include roles such as helping with soliciting donations, sending out auction communications throughout the year, setting up the back-end software for the silent auction and organizing donations. Much of this work can also be done at night and from home, so it’s a great way for working parents to get involved. To help with planning, please contact the Silent Auction co-chairs at corpuschristischoolauction@gmail.com.
Set up: Set up primarily occurs the night of Friday, January 28 and the morning of Saturday, January 29. It may sound like work, but ask those who have done it before – we make it fun!
Helping during the event: Earn a few volunteer hours working during the Silent Auction by selling “Heads or Tails“ tickets, helping out in the bidding rooms, assisting in the dessert room or working the back room (where all of the check-out magic happens)!
Break down: Silent Auction breakdown begins as soon as bidding has closed. We need help turning the bidding rooms back into classrooms quickly. Help is also needed on Sunday morning, as we finalize getting the classrooms & hallways back in “school shape“ for Monday morning.
